We’re excited to announce the release of Login AlertX v3.3.0! This update brings a brand-new Telegram notification channel, a major overhaul of our notification dispatch engine for faster and more reliable alerts, and an important fix for Microsoft Store users who weren’t seeing their linked devices. Here’s everything that’s new.
🚀 New Features & Improvements
- Telegram Notifications: You can now receive login alerts directly in any Telegram chat or channel. Just configure your bot token and chat ID under Settings → Plugins and Login AlertX will start delivering alerts through Telegram automatically, alongside your existing email and push channels.
- Dynamic Email Subjects with
{{default}}: Email notification subjects now support a{{default}}placeholder that automatically resolves to the correct event-based subject — “Login Detected”, “Session Locked”, and so on — without you having to hard-code anything per rule. - Parallel Notification Dispatch: Push and WhatsApp notifications now fire instantly in parallel rather than waiting for email capture to finish. This means you get your mobile alert in real time, even while the email is still being composed and sent in the background.
- Alerts Before Sleep & Shutdown: The service now detects when your PC is about to sleep or power off and dispatches any pending alerts immediately, before Windows freezes network connections. No more missed notifications on shutdown.
- Faster Alert Delivery: Alert channel settings are now cached locally, so the service immediately knows which channels (email, push, Telegram, etc.) to notify without performing a lookup on every single event. This meaningfully reduces the time between an event happening and your alert arriving.
- Automatic Failed Login Detection: Login AlertX now automatically enables the Windows audit policy for failed logon events during setup. You no longer need to manually configure Group Policy to start capturing failed login attempts.
🛡️ Bug Fixes
- Linked Devices Not Shown for Store Users: Users who purchased Login AlertX through the Microsoft Store were unable to see their linked mobile devices in the app. This has been fixed — linked devices now display correctly for all Store users.
