WhatsApp and push notifications are Premium subscription features and are not included in the 30-day free trial. To enable them, purchase a Premium plan and enter your serial key in the License tab. Once activated, configure your WhatsApp number (including country code) or push notification settings in the Settings tab and use the Test button to verify. If alerts still don’t arrive, contact [email protected] with logs from %AppData%\LoginAlertX.

• Confirm your system meets the minimum requirements (Windows 7/8/10/11, 2 GB RAM, 50 MB free space).
• Right-click the setup file and select Run as Administrator — this is required to register the Windows Service.
• Temporarily disable your antivirus during installation if it is blocking the file. This is a known false-positive behaviour — see the antivirus FAQ below.
• If you are on Windows 7 or 8, use the EXE installer. The Microsoft Store (MSIX) version requires Windows 10 or later.

After the 30-day trial, Premium features require a paid licence. To activate:

1. Purchase a Premium plan at loginalertx.com/pricing.
2. Open Login AlertX and go to the License tab.
3. Enter the serial key and the email address used during purchase.
4. Ensure your internet connection is active — activation contacts our servers to validate the key.

If features still do not activate, contact [email protected] with your order number and logs from %AppData%\LoginAlertX.

Login AlertX uses two mechanisms for startup:

• The LoginAlertXService Windows Service starts automatically at boot — even before any user logs in — and handles login event monitoring.
• The application UI (system tray) starts when you log in. Enable this in Settings → Run at Startup.

If the application UI is not starting, check Task Manager → Startup tab and ensure Login AlertX is enabled. Contact [email protected] with logs from %AppData%\LoginAlertX if the service is also not running.

Login AlertX is safe and malware-free. Some antivirus programs flag it because of its legitimate security functions — monitoring login events, running a background Windows Service, storing encrypted settings, and optionally capturing images or audio when you choose to enable those features. These are intentional behaviours, not malicious activity.

This is a false positive. You can:

• Whitelist the application in your antivirus settings.
• Check our independent VirusTotal scan report.
• Contact [email protected] with your antivirus name, the detection message, and a screenshot — we actively work with vendors to resolve false detections.

The Microsoft Store version (MSIX) is signed by Microsoft and is less likely to trigger antivirus warnings.

Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Chat notifications are available through the Login AlertX Plugin system, introduced in v2.5.0. Each plugin is purchased separately and works alongside any Free or Premium plan. After purchasing, install the plugin and configure it from the Plugins tab in Login AlertX — each integration has a one-click test connection button to confirm everything is working. For webhook-based integrations (Zapier, Make, or custom APIs), enter your webhook URL in the same tab.

Every fresh installation of Login AlertX automatically activates a 30-day Premium trial. No credit card or account is required. The trial includes:
