Effective Date: September 30, 2026
Welcome to the Terms of Service for Login AlertX (“we,” “us,” or “our”), accessible at loginalertx.com (the “Website”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and
use of our Website and our subscription services for the Login AlertX software, which includes the Login AlertX application and monitoring service for Windows and the Login AlertX – Companion mobile app (collectively,
the “Software”). The Website and the Software are together the “Services”. By accessing our Website or using our Services, including the 30-day trial, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or Services.
These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (as amended) and rules made thereunder, and comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”). By using the Services, you
consent to enter into contracts electronically.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our Website or Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. Our Services are not intended for anyone under 18. If you are using the Website or Services on behalf
of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Use of the Login AlertX Software is also governed by a separate End-User License Agreement (EULA), available on our Website. By using the Software, you agree to comply with the EULA. If these Terms and the EULA conflict regarding your
use of the Software, the EULA prevails; for the Website, purchases, subscriptions, and billing, these Terms prevail. If you download the Companion app from an app store (such as Google Play), that store’s terms also apply to your download and use of that app.
2. Website Usage
The Website provides information about Login AlertX, allows you to download the Software with a 30-day trial, purchase subscriptions via WooCommerce, and offers support resources. You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes
and in accordance with these Terms.
- Permitted Use: You may browse the Website, download the Software, purchase subscriptions, contact support, and access public content.
-
Prohibited Use: You may not:
- Use the Website for illegal activities or to harm others.
- Submit false or misleading information (e.g., during checkout).
- Engage in unauthorized access or disruption of the Website.
3. Subscriptions and Licensing
Login AlertX is offered as an annual subscription, with a 30-day trial. The Software includes a service that monitors login events and an application that processes notifications and manages settings. Current plans and
prices are shown on our Pricing page. By using the Software, including during the trial, you agree to the following:
- Billing and Renewals: Subscriptions are billed annually in advance after the 30-day trial. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your subscription renews for another year and you authorize us to charge
your payment method for the renewal.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account on the Website (or, for purchases made through the Microsoft Store, through your Microsoft account). Upon cancellation, access to premium features will continue until the
end of the current annual term or trial period.
- Feature Access: Subscription tiers (e.g., free, premium) or the 30-day trial determine access to Software features, such as enhanced notifications or configuration options. We may modify feature availability as described in Section 7.
- Premium Validation and License Scope: Premium features require a valid serial key after the 30-day trial, validated via our server at loginalertx.com. Each license is tied to a device identifier and may be used
only on the number of devices allowed by your plan at the time of purchase. If you reinstall the Software, replace hardware, or need to move your license to another device, contact us to re-activate it. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your serial key.
- Enterprise and Volume Use: Use across many devices or by an organization at scale may be offered under separate Enterprise plans or a separate written agreement, which will take precedence for that use.
- Non-Payment: Failure to pay subscription fees after the trial may result in suspension or termination of access to the Software and premium features.
4. Purchases and Payments
Subscriptions are processed through WooCommerce on our Website, or, where offered, through the Microsoft Store. The 30-day trial does not require payment.
- Payment: You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize charges for subscriptions after the trial, including applicable taxes. Where recurring payments are subject to Indian banking regulations, your bank or payment provider may
require additional authentication and may send you advance notice before each charge. Payments are handled by our payment providers under their own terms.
- Microsoft Store Purchases: If you buy through the Microsoft Store, billing, renewals, and refunds for that purchase are handled under Microsoft’s terms and policies, and you should contact Microsoft for those matters.
- Pricing: Prices are displayed on the Website and may change. For existing subscribers, a price change applies from the next renewal after we notify you. The trial is free, and subscription charges apply only after the trial period ends.
- Serial Key Delivery: Upon successful payment after the trial, you will receive a serial key via email for premium feature activation.
- Refunds: Refunds for subscriptions are handled under our refund policy, available on the Website or upon request. The 30-day trial is not eligible for refunds. Nothing in this section limits refund rights you have under applicable law.
5. Lawful and Authorized Use of the Software
Login AlertX can capture webcam images, screenshots, and audio, record login and device events, and send them to the notification channels you configure. Because of this, you agree that you will:
- Install and use the Software only on devices you own or are legally authorized to monitor.
- Obtain every consent and give every notice required by law before monitoring a device used by other people (for example, employees, family members, or guests), including under applicable data protection, workplace, and privacy laws.
- Not use the Software for covert surveillance, stalking, harassment, or the unlawful interception of another person’s communications or activity.
- Comply with all laws that apply to recording images or audio, and to processing the resulting personal data, in your jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for how you deploy and use the Software. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the Software is being used in breach of this section.
6. Alert Delivery and Security Disclaimer
Login AlertX helps you detect and be notified of login and system events, but it is a monitoring aid and not a complete security solution. Delivery of alerts depends on factors outside our control, including your device being powered on and connected
to the internet, your configuration, and the availability of email, push, WhatsApp, and other messaging providers you rely on. We do not guarantee that every event will be detected or that every alert will be delivered on time or at all, and you should not rely on the Software as your only security control.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to ensure the Website, Software, and premium validation services are available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, including during the 30-day trial. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services, including premium
features. For changes that materially affect paid subscribers, we will give reasonable notice where practical, and if we discontinue a paid feature entirely, we will refund the unused portion of your current annual term for that feature. Except as stated in this
section, we are not liable for losses resulting from such changes.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including text, images, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative
works from our content without written permission. The “Login AlertX” name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without permission. Rights in the Software itself are granted under the EULA.
9. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information during purchases or support requests.
- Configuring the Software correctly, including notification channels (such as SMTP email, push, WhatsApp, and messaging platforms) and enabling or disabling premium features, during and after the trial.
- Securing the credentials you enter for notification channels, such as SMTP passwords, Google OAuth credentials, bot tokens, and webhook URLs. These are stored on your device (for example in Windows Credential Manager or in encrypted local storage), and their security depends on
the security of your device.
- Ensuring your use of the Software, including monitoring login events, complies with applicable laws, as described in Section 5.
- Maintaining the security of your account, serial key, and subscription credentials.
- Local Interfaces: Securing any application or client that receives data from the Software’s local interfaces (such as its local inter-process communication channels). We are not liable for unauthorized access to that data resulting from your failure to secure your systems.
- DPDP Act Compliance: If you are located in India, you agree to comply with your statutory duties as a Data Principal under Section 15 of the DPDP Act (including not impersonating others, not suppressing material
facts, and not filing false or frivolous grievances).
10. Privacy and Data Compliance
Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including what stays on your device and what the Software sends to us and to third-party services. By using our Website or Software, including during
the 30-day trial, you agree to the Privacy Policy.
Please note that while you have the right to request erasure of your personal data under the DPDP Act, we may retain certain records (such as transaction histories, invoices, and billing logs) for the duration required to comply with
statutory tax, accounting, and legal requirements. For questions or complaints about data handling, see the Grievance Redressal section of the Privacy Policy.
11. Third-Party Services and Dependencies
Our Website and Software rely on third-party services and dependencies, including:
- Website and Purchases: WooCommerce (e-commerce), Razorpay and PayPal (payments), HubSpot (CRM, support, and communications), Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (analytics and behavior tracking), and Jetpack (site security and performance).
- Alert Delivery and Lookup: Firebase Cloud Messaging (push alerts to the Companion app), Twilio and WhatsApp (WhatsApp alerts), and ip-api.com (approximate location for alerts).
- Channels You Enable: Services such as Telegram, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord, and your email provider, to which the Software sends alerts using credentials you provide.
- Software Dependencies: The Software requires the Microsoft .NET runtime (.NET 10) and uses third-party libraries (e.g., Newtonsoft.Json), subject to their respective licenses.
Third-party services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies, linked in our Privacy Policy. We remain responsible for our own handling of personal data as described in the Privacy Policy and required by law. We are not responsible for the
availability, performance, or practices of independent third-party services that you choose to enable or that you use to receive alerts.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Website, Services, or premium features if you violate these Terms, including:
- Unauthorized use of the Software or subscription credentials, or sharing a license beyond what your plan allows.
- Fraudulent activity or chargebacks.
- Illegal, harmful, or unauthorized use of our Services, including a breach of Section 5.
You may stop using the Services at any time by cancelling your subscription and uninstalling the Software. Upon termination or expiration of the 30-day trial, your access to premium features will cease unless you purchase a subscription. Sections that by their
nature should survive termination (including Sections 5, 8, 10, and 13 to 18) will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Website and Services, including the 30-day trial, are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted access, or that alerts will be
detected or delivered as described in Section 6. This does not affect any warranties or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we, our affiliates, and our service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Website or Services, including during
the 30-day trial. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or use of the Services shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the subscription in the twelve (12) months preceding the event, or INR 3,000 (whichever
is greater).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or any consumer rights that apply to you by law.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your violation of these Terms (including Section 5) or misuse of the Website or Services, including during the trial.
16. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay in providing the Services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or power outages, failures of third-party providers, natural disasters, government actions, or cyberattacks.
17. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the EULA, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Services.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect.
- No Waiver: Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. If you are a consumer outside India, this does not
remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the laws of your country.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our practices, Services, or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a Website notice. Your continued use of the Website or Services, including the trial, after
the updated Terms are effective constitutes acceptance.
