Multi-User Environments
Login AlertX supports multiple user accounts on the same PC:
- Each user can configure their own email settings and preferences.
- Notifications are sent based on the active user’s session and settings.
- The background service (
Login AlertX Service
) monitors all user sessions, ensuring no events are missed, even if the application isn’t running for a user. - When switching users (e.g., via Switch User), notifications continue for each user’s session.
Tips:
- Configure settings for each user account separately by logging into their Windows session.
- Ensure the service is running (see Troubleshooting Login AlertX) to track events across users.
Additional Notes
- Background Operation: The Login AlertX service runs continuously, even if you close the application, ensuring events are queued and sent when connectivity is available.
- Disabling Notifications: Toggle App Enabled off in the Preferences tab to pause notifications without uninstalling.
- Restarting: If notifications stop, restart the application via the Start menu or check the service status.
