System Requirements

Before installing Login AlertX, confirm that your system meets the requirements below. Both the Free and Premium plans work on the same hardware.

Operating System

Windows 7, 8, 10, or 11 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Keep Windows updated for best compatibility and security.

Hardware

RAM: 2 GB minimum (4 GB recommended if you use webcam or audio capture)
Storage: 50 MB free disk space for the application and its settings
Optional — for Premium capture features:
- Webcam: Required to capture a photo on login
- Microphone: Required to record a short audio clip on login

Network

Required for:
- Sending email via Sign in with Google (OAuth)
- WhatsApp notifications (Premium)
- Mobile push notifications (Premium)
- License activation and validation
Not required for:
- Sending email via SMTP on a local mail server
- Login event monitoring — the app detects events locally regardless of connectivity. Notifications are queued and delivered once connectivity is restored.
Firewall: Allow outbound traffic on port 587 (TLS) or 465 (SSL) if using SMTP email.

Permissions

Administrator rights are required during installation to register the Login AlertX background service.
After installation, standard users can open and use the app without elevated rights.

Dependencies

All required runtime components are bundled with the installer — no separate downloads needed.
For webcam and audio capture, ensure your device drivers are installed and up to date (check Device Manager in Windows).

Antivirus & Security Software

Because Login AlertX runs as a Windows background service and reads system event logs, some antivirus programs may flag it during installation. If this happens, add Login AlertX to your antivirus exclusion list. The application is digitally signed and safe to use.
