Push Notifications

With a Premium license, Login AlertX sends instant push notifications to your Android smartphone the moment a login is detected on your PC — even with the app closed, even when you’re away from your desk. (Currently available for Android only.)

What You Need

  • An active Premium license or trial
  • An Android smartphone
  • The Login AlertX mobile app installed on your phone

Note: You can pair up to 2 devices per account.

Step 1: Install the Login AlertX App

Download and install the Login AlertX app directly from the Google Play Store:

Download Login AlertX from Google Play

Step 2: Pair Your Phone

There are two ways to link your phone to your Login AlertX account:

Option A: Pairing Code (Recommended)

  1. Open the Login AlertX mobile app on your phone.
  2. Tap Link Device and enter your registered email address.
  3. Tap Send Pairing Code. A 6-digit code will be sent to your email.
  4. Enter the code in the app. It expires in 5 minutes, so enter it promptly. If it expires, tap Resend Code to get a new one.
  5. Your phone is now linked. You’ll receive a confirmation notification.

Option B: QR Code

  1. Open Login AlertX on your PC and go to the Notification Preferences tab.
  2. Click Link Mobile Device. A QR code will appear on screen.
  3. Open the Login AlertX mobile app on your phone and tap Scan QR Code, then point your camera at the QR code on your PC screen.
  4. Your phone will be linked immediately.

⚠️ Important: Enable Notifications & Disable Battery Optimization
After pairing, go to your phone’s Settings → Apps → Login AlertX and ensure:
• Notifications are allowed
• Battery optimization is set to Unrestricted (or “Don’t optimize”)

Skipping these two steps is the most common reason push alerts silently stop arriving.

Managing Linked Devices

To view or remove linked devices:

  1. Open Login AlertX on your PC and go to the Notification Preferences tab.
  2. Under Linked Devices, you’ll see a list of paired phones with their names and the date they were linked.
  3. To unlink a device, click Remove next to it. The phone will be notified and unlinked immediately.

What Push Alerts Show

Each push notification on your phone shows:

  • The event type (e.g. Login, Unlock, Remote Login)
  • The Windows username
  • The date, time, and IP address of the event
  • The AI Anomaly Score and risk level (Low / Medium / High)

Tapping the notification opens the mobile app, where you can view the full event detail and history synced from your PC.

Viewing History in the Mobile App

The mobile app lets you browse your PC’s full login event history from your phone. Tap Sync in the app to pull the latest events. Note that your PC must be powered on and connected to the internet for Sync to work. Your login history is transferred securely and is not stored on any external server.

Tips

  • If you get a new phone, pair it first, then remove the old device from the Linked Devices list to free up your pairing slot.
  • Push notifications and WhatsApp alerts can be enabled at the same time for redundant coverage — if one channel misses, the other catches it.
