Discord
The Discord plugin for Login AlertX posts a formatted alert message to a Discord channel every time a monitored event is detected — logins, failed attempts, remote access, session locks, and more.
What You Need
- An active Premium license
- Access to a Discord server
- Permission to manage webhooks in your target Discord channel
- The Login AlertX Discord plugin installed (bundled with Login AlertX)
Step 1: Create an Incoming Webhook in Discord
- Open Discord and navigate to the server you want to receive alerts in.
- Right-click the channel name and select Edit Channel (or click the gear icon next to the channel name).
- Select Integrations from the left sidebar.
- Click Create Webhook (or Webhooks → New Webhook).
- Give the webhook a name (e.g.
Login AlertX) and optionally upload an avatar. - Ensure the correct channel is selected in the dropdown.
- Click Copy Webhook URL.
- Click Save Changes.
Step 2: Configure the Plugin in Login AlertX
- Open Login AlertX from the system tray.
- Navigate to the Plugins tab.
- Locate Discord Notification Plugin and click it to open its settings.
- Paste the Webhook URL you copied into the Webhook URL field.
- Click Save.
Step 3: Test the Connection
- With the Discord plugin settings open, click Test Connection.
- Login AlertX will send a test alert to your Discord channel.
- Check the channel — a test notification should appear within a few seconds.
What a Discord Alert Looks Like
Each Discord alert includes:
- The event type (Login, Failed Login, Lock, Remote Connect, etc.)
- The Windows account name that triggered the event
- The date and time of the event
- The public IP address at the time
- The anomaly score if applicable
Tips & Troubleshooting
- If the test fails, ensure the webhook URL was copied in full and is still active in your Discord channel integrations settings.
- Discord webhooks are tied to a specific channel. If the channel is deleted, the webhook stops working — create a new one and update Login AlertX.
- Discord webhooks require an active internet connection. Alerts generated while offline are retried automatically when connectivity is restored.
- You can run the Discord plugin alongside email, Slack, push, and other plugins simultaneously.
