WhatsApp Setup

With a Premium license, Login AlertX can send a WhatsApp message to your phone every time a login or unlock is detected on your PC. This is in addition to email — you can use both at the same time.

What You Need

• An active Premium license or trial
• A WhatsApp account linked to your phone number
• Your phone number in international format (e.g. +91XXXXXXXXXX for India, +1XXXXXXXXXX for the US)

Setting Up WhatsApp Notifications

1. Open Login AlertX from the system tray and go to the Notification Preferences tab.
2. Enable the WhatsApp notification channel.
3. Enter your phone number in the WhatsApp Number field, including the country code (e.g. +91XXXXXXXXXX).
4. Click Save Settings.

What the WhatsApp Alert Contains

Each WhatsApp alert includes:

• The Windows username that logged in
• The public IP address at the time of the event
• The date and time of the login

WhatsApp Message Limits

WhatsApp notifications are subject to a monthly message limit based on your license plan. Your remaining quota is shown in the License tab. Once the limit is reached, email and push notifications continue to work unaffected.

Tips

• Make sure your phone number includes the country code. Without it, messages will not be delivered.
• WhatsApp messages are sent from a shared Login AlertX number — save it in your contacts so messages aren’t filtered as spam.
• You can use WhatsApp alongside email and push notifications for maximum coverage.
• If you do not receive a message, verify your number format and ensure WhatsApp is active on that number.
