Installation
This section guides you through downloading and installing Login AlertX on your Windows PC. The process takes just a few minutes and requires administrator rights.
Downloading the Installer
- Download the installer from one of these trusted sources:
- Official Website: loginalertx.com/download
- Microsoft Store: Open in Microsoft Store
- Softpedia: Softpedia listing
- Uptodown: Uptodown listing
- MajorGeeks: MajorGeeks listing
- Save the file
LoginAlertX_Setup.exeto a location you can easily find, such as your Downloads folder.
Installing Login AlertX

Run the installer: Double-click
LoginAlertX_Setup.exe. When Windows prompts “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?”, click Yes. Administrator rights are required to register the background monitoring service. -
Follow the setup wizard:
- Welcome: Click Next to begin.
- License Agreement: Read and accept the terms, then click Next.
- Installation Folder: The default path is
C:\Program Files (x86)\Login AlertX. Change it if needed, then click Next. - Ready to Install: Click Install.
- Finish: Click Finish. Login AlertX will launch automatically.
What Gets Installed
The installer sets up two components:
- Login AlertX — the app you interact with, accessible from the system tray
- Login AlertX Service — a Windows background service that monitors login events continuously, even when the app window is closed
Verifying the Installation
- System tray icon: You should see the Login AlertX icon in the system tray (bottom-right corner of your screen, near the clock). Double-click it to open the app.

Service status: To confirm the background service is running:
- Press
Win + R, typeservices.msc, and press Enter. - Find Login AlertX Service in the list.
- Its status should show Running. If not, right-click it and select Start.
- Press
Uninstalling Login AlertX
- Open Settings > Apps (or Control Panel > Programs and Features on older Windows versions).
- Find Login AlertX, select it, and click Uninstall.
- Follow the prompts. The uninstaller removes the app and stops the background service.

To remove residual settings and logs, you may optionally delete:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Login AlertX%AppData%\LoginAlertX(type%AppData%in File Explorer’s address bar to navigate there)
