Login AlertX can send alerts to your favourite communication tools — including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, and Telegram. Each channel is configured through a dedicated Plugin in the app.

What are Plugins?

Integrations in Login AlertX are handled through Plugins. Each plugin is a standalone module that adds a new notification channel. Most plugins use Webhooks to send data from your PC to the external service. The Telegram plugin uses a Bot Token and Chat ID instead.

What is a Webhook?

Think of a Webhook as a “digital mailbox” for a specific app. When Login AlertX detects a login, it drops the alert details into that mailbox URL. The target app (like Slack) then displays the message in the channel you’ve chosen.

⚠️ Important: Webhooks require an active internet connection. Unlike SMTP email, they cannot function on a strictly local network without internet access. Alerts are retried automatically once connectivity is restored.
